The Formorrow Academy is a one year programme based on scientific insights, full of training sessions and coaching to support your growth. The strength of the Academy lies in the coherence between its components: training, coaching, and workshops. You will go through the academy in 4 phases:
Your foundation
month 1–3
We start with the foundation. We explore where you stand in your personal and professional development and what you need to grow.
Deepen your self-knowledge
month 4–6
Increase your self-knowledge by zooming in on your strenghts, pitfalls and personality, and capture your development goals in your development plan.
What matters to you?
month 7–9
What occupies your mind? What makes you happy? What do you want to contribute? Based on these drives you determine what suits you, and the direction in which you want to grow.
Shape your career
month 10–12
What are your goals for the long term? In your career plan you create a vision for your future, and together with your employer we’ll make this plan concrete.

Deepen your self-knowledge
You follow a well-thought-out programme of training sessions focused on your personal development and effectiveness. You’ll discover what makes you tick, what energises you, how you collaborate optimally, and above all: how to excel as your authentic self. All things that will benefit you throughout your career.
You’ll follow training sessions with a fixed, familiar group, usually during working hours at our Amersfoort office.

What is the difference between the Formorrow Academy for Starters and the Formorrow Academy for Professionals?
The principle of both academies is the same: to support you through training and coaching so that you can become the best version of yourself. There are therefore many similarities between the two academies.
The difference lies in where the focus is placed. As a starter, in our experience, you have different needs than an experienced professional. For example, we pay more attention to onboarding and the transition from student life to working life. As a professional, you are already accustomed to working life. That is why this academy places more emphasis on broadening and deepening your knowledge and on (personal) leadership.
Another important difference: the Formorrow Academy for Starters has a duration of 2 years, while the Formorrow Academy for Professionals lasts 1 year.
Am I eligible for the Formorrow Academy?
Our academies focus on personal, professional, and technical development and are linked to a full-time job in IT. The roles we offer range from specialist and technical positions to more people-oriented and functional positions. A lot is possible!
To be eligible, you must meet at least one of these requirements
- You have completed a relevant course of study, such as an IT or STEM programme
- You have gained experience in IT during your career
- You have experience and a strong affinity with IT in another way

Is the Formorrow Academy a retraining programme?
No, the Formorrow Academy is not a retraining programme. It is therefore important that you already have some affinity or experience with IT. This does not mean you must have completed an IT-related education; candidates with a STEM background are often also eligible for roles with our clients. Unsure whether you are eligible for one of our academies? Get in touch with us and we will think along with you!
Although we do not offer a retraining programme, technical training is part of our academy. Are you lacking certain knowledge or skills for a role? With us, you have the opportunity to follow tailored training and obtain certificates that match your role and/or ambitions.
Do I attend the academy before I start my job through Formorrow?
No, you go through the academy in parallel with your job at your client. The training and coaching usually take place during working hours. So it is not a course you need to complete before you can start working.
Can I work through Formorrow without attending the academy?
No, in principle, you always follow the Formorrow Academy when working through us. Our academies are an important part of our approach and the added value for you and your client. They are therefore not an optional part of our services.
