Our process in 3 steps
Know yourself
Step one: we want to get to know you thoroughly. What drives you, what makes you tick and what do you excel at?
That happens on the Discovery Day. You speak with an occupational psychologist about who you are and where your ambitions lie. Together you look through the results of your game-based assessment. That way we — you included — get a clear picture of who you are.
Find your match
Based on the results of the Discovery Day we look for a job that suits you. Together we’ll find an employer where you’ll feel at home. Where you fully come into your own. Where you have all the space you need to develop yourself and reach your full potential.
You’ll interview with potential employers to see if you feel a click with each other. That click must be mutual: we don’t consider it a match unless you both choose each other.
Grow ahead
We invest in your growth: both as a person and as a professional. Because we want to help you become the best version of yourself. We do that through the Formorrow Academy.
You’ll deepen your self-knowledge and strengthen your skills through a well-thought-out programme of training courses. Together with your Career Coach you’ll look ahead: what is your vision on the future and how will you get there? You follow the academy during working hours.
There are two variants of our academy. Are you just starting out? Then you’ll follow the regular Formorrow Academy. Are you a professional with plenty of experience? Then you’ll follow our specialised Professional Academy.

Secondment at future employer
We intend for you to be happy at your job for the long term. That’s why we work with a secondment at future employer construction. The first two years you’ll be seconded at one of Formorrow’s clients.
Are you both still happy with each other after those two years? Then you’ll be offered a contract of indefinite duration at the client. And that works — Formorrowers stay at their employer for an average duration of 5-7 years.

Is the Discovery Day non-committal, or are there obligations attached?
The Discovery Day is free of obligations, it does not commit you to anything. Nor are there costs associated with it.
Of course we hope you’ll work with us, and we’ll try our hardest to match you to a job that makes you happy.
What is a game-based assessment?
Before your Discovery Day you’ll be sent a link to a game-based assessment. You’ll play several games designed to measure a broad range of personality traits. The assessment results in a detailed personal profile, which we’ll discuss during the Discovery Day.
We have partnered with IVY Works for our game-based assessments. Their assessments are based on insights from cognitive neuroscience, personality psychology, affective psychology and occupational- and organisational psychology.
Do I decide what client I work with?
We look for a job that matches you within our extensive network of clients, but you remain in control. We will only second you somewhere if you are enthusiastic about the job and client — and vice versa.
How long do I work through Formorrow?
We intend for your match with our client to last for the long term. The first two years you’ll work at one of our clients through a secondment at future employer construction. When those two years are up and the match is still mutual, the client will offer you a contract of indeterminate duration and become your new employer.
Can I get started via Formorrow without attending an academy?
No, our academies come hand in hand with the vacancies we offer. Meaning that when you work via Formorrow you always follow an academy.
